Fresh milk in a blue wrapping
Karl Fazer Milk Chocolate is created from a unique recipe. Its special character derives from fresh milk and the finest cocoa beans together with a finely tuned production process. Karl Fazer Milk Chocolate is, in fact, the only milk chocolate in the Nordic countries that is produced as milk chocolate should be produced – from fresh milk, not milk powder.
The blue colour that Fazer has traditionally used for its chocolate wrapping is a company registered brand. It is the first time in history that a colour is approved for registration as a trademark in Finland. Cloetta Fazer in Finland has the exclusive right to sell chocolate products in the famous blue wrapping. Indeed, the colour is a symbol of the product and the word blue does not even need to be mentioned.
Karl Fazer Milk Chocolate is produced at the Vantaa plant in Finland. The yearly production is 7.6 million kg. In Finland every fourth chocolate bar sold is Fazer Blue and the brand’s market share is 65 per cent. Karl Fazer Milk Chocolate is currently Finland’s most esteemed brand.
Besides Finland, the products are sold in Sweden, Poland, Russia and the Baltic countries. Via tax-free trade the chocolate is also distributed to many other countries.
